London's greatness is found in its people.

Just like these inspiring residents in Bromley that I met recently - this is what I call 'community in action.'

I am running for Mayor because I believe in the power of community. I will be their biggest champion.

Along with @Georgeb345 @KRAOrpington Cllr Tony Owen and approximately 500 local residents we managed to watch the eclipse. Some said they needed the glasses just for our shirts, surely not!!!

Our poll, prompted by new yellow box cams on Station Rd, found residents support camera enforcement but want it focused on High Street crime, speeding, fly-tipping, vehicle theft and red-light offences.Yellow boxes scored just 0.5%.This needs council, police, TfL working together

Come and join us on Wednesday 12 August for the biggest solar eclipse we’ve seen since 1999. We’ll take a short walk to one of the best local viewpoints, with eclipse glasses available to borrow, phone filters, and ball games for the children. Here’s hoping for clear skies! 🌘✨
