VE Day 80 – Historic Walk

As part of our VE Day 80th Anniversary celebrations, join us on Saturday 10th May, for a two mile heritage walk starting at 11am on Broomhill Common.

Walk round some of the local places that either played a part or were impacted by WW2.

We will finish at All Saints Church where there will be an exhibition of local people’s memories, memorabilia etc.

This is a free event. No booking for this event is required but please turn up promptly for the 11am start so as to avoid disappointment. Also, please be aware that this route is around two miles, and will involve walking along some busy roads, and involve some steps, so please ensure that this walk is suitable for you before commencing.
